Living in the heart of Madrid, just a few meters from the M-30, has many advantages... but also a big drawback: the constant noise from the highway and higher energy costs due to insulation losses.
Our clients from Chamberí contacted us with a clear objective: restore peace of mind to your home and improve your home's energy efficiency.
The home suffered from insufficient sound insulation for the outside noise level, and old windows compromised thermal comfort and reduced air conditioning costs. The noise of cars was constant, and the feeling of cold in winter and heat in summer permeated every room.
We install 5 PVC windows Kömmerling 76 MD, with 6 air chambers and a slimmer profile of just 76 mm, along with RolaPlus blinds by Kömmerling in bronze and Planistar One Silence glass by Climalit.
This solution was the most appropriate since, due to the building's orientation, the glass reduces sunlight while maintaining light, improves thermal efficiency by preventing heat loss, and, thanks to the Silence treatment, effectively blocks noise from the M-30.
