More light, more space and a new way of living in the house in Torrelodones
The project has been developed on an existing house, opting for high-performance aluminum joinery solutions, large glazed surfaces and solar protection systems that provide design, comfort and efficiency in the daily use of the home.
The house had great potential, but needed to open up to the outdoors and make better use of natural light. The main challenge was to create a seamless connection between the living room, kitchen, and patio without a complete renovation, while maintaining a balance between aesthetics, insulation, and comfort.
In addition, the client was looking for solutions that would allow:
- Gain visual spaciousness.
- Improve thermal insulation.
- Control the entry of light and sunlight.
- Enjoy the patio for more months of the year.
All of this had to be integrated naturally into the architecture of the house and respond to a real and everyday use.
Afandecor designed a completely customized solution, combining different systems depending on each space.
In the living room, a large aluminum sliding window Cortizo This design allows for a wide opening onto the patio and maximizes the entry of natural light. This solution creates a visual continuity between the interior and exterior, contributing to a sense of spaciousness and a higher quality environment for the entire home.
In the kitchen , a Cortizo window COR Vision series with system Galandage , Lacquered in white with a narrow design. When opened, the leaves are completely concealed, freeing up the space and reinforcing the feeling of openness.
