
At Afandecor we helped transform an apartment in the Puerta de Ángel neighborhood, in a building built in 1962, where we replaced 10 old windows with new PVC windows. Kommerling Eurofutur in white RAL 654. The project not only improved the aesthetics and comfort of the home, but also represented a significant leap in energy efficiency, sound insulation, and sustainability.
The client also chose to integrate Rolaplus motorized blinds from Kommerling In some rooms, a system that fits perfectly to the window, improves insulation and has the seal Greenline, a guarantee of environmental commitment.

The client complemented the project with high-performance blinds that provide extra comfort:

Depending on the location of each room, different solutions were installed: fixed, tilt-and-turn, and a sliding door in the bathroom.
After replacing the windows, the home saw a tangible improvement in its energy efficiency:
- CO₂ emission reduction: from 4,848.16 to 3,154 kg/year → 34,93% less.
- Non-renewable primary energy consumption: from 358.9 kWh/m² year to 233.6 → 34,96% savings.
- Heating and cooling demand: from 219.90 kWh/m² to 134.40 → 38,38% savings.
The end result is a more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable apartment, ready to enjoy greater well-being with significantly lower energy consumption.
