At Afandecor we not only work with individual clients, we also provide service to a wide range of professional portfolio. Today we have moved to an emblematic street in the center of Madrid to show you a striking building, designed by the architect Israel Alba, which our team worked on a few months ago.
He RAILWAY BUILDING 4BIS, as it is known, is located a few meters from the Atocha station, the El Retiro and Madrid Río parks.
This area began to transform a few years ago with the idea of renovate older buildings. This is how the Israeli project arose, which demolished an old structure from the beginning of the 20th century to build what is today the architectural work that you can see in the photographs.
The peculiarity of the construction is that it is located between two buildings and therefore, the width of the building does not exceed eight meters. For this reason, Israel designed a open and glazed façade, which would capture the maximum possible light.
This is where Afandecor came to work! The company was responsible for the execution of the window system and the two facades that the building has. Israel's goal was glaze the entire front of the building under some aluminum slides of a great dimension.
The final result met the expectations of this prestigious architect who has recently received the award from the College of Architects of Madrid (COAM) for this great project.
We are delighted that our clients “continue to speak highly of us”.
