Kömmerling removes unused or surplus PVC profile scraps every 21 days, takes them to its factory, grinds them, and removes impurities before reintroducing them into the production process in the form of granules or powder, which are then used to manufacture new systems.
Cortizo, for its part, removes aluminum scrap once a month, and the process is very similar. This material is transported to its recycling plants, where it is melted and converted back into raw material for manufacturing new profiles. Together, we contribute to reducing waste and energy consumption, closing the aluminum cycle.

At Afandecor, we work exclusively with Kömmerling, a German brand with its own advanced formula (Kömalit Z), which incorporates internal metal reinforcements and exceeds the standards required in Europe.
