
Alberto Linares participated in the round table "Made in Madrid"
The CEO of Grupo Afandecor, Alberto Linares, participated in the event “Made in Madrid”, an initiative of the Government Area of Economy, Innovation and Employment of the Madrid City Council and in which the Business Forum for Madrid participates. The event was held at the facilities of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and served to present the results of the campaign to promote the industrial reality of the region.
The event was attended by the vice mayor of Madrid, Begoña Villacís, and the delegate of Economy, Innovation and Employment, Miguel Ángel Redondo. Both defended the success of the campaign which, thanks to its exposure on outdoor furniture and digital channels, has achieved more than 12 million impacts on Madrid residents. Currently, more than 12,000 companies manufacture products in Madrid that are distributed throughout the world. Afandecor Group, in its capacity as a leading company in the window manufacturing and energy efficiency sector, was invited to participate in the colloquium.

Eva Serrano, first vice president of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, was in charge of opening the round table. He stated that “Madrid's economy has solid industrial foundations on which to sustain future growth and job creation.” Following the reflections and results of the authorities on the development of the “Made in Madrid” campaign, Afandecor Group has been part of the group of companies that have provided practical cases and have made known their successful experience in industrial production.

Alberto Linares was presented as manager of the leading company in the PVC and aluminum windows and enclosures sector. In addition, the Afandecor Group's efforts to stand out in the field of energy efficiency and the installation of photovoltaic panels for self-consumption were highlighted. In his speech, he highlighted “the good pace of the industrial sector and its good growth prospects for the future.” Furthermore, he took the opportunity to emphasize the great competitive advantages of manufacturing in Madrid, especially in terms of innovation, quality and energy efficiency.
