The home, which enjoys a lot of personality, It was designed in the 20th century and needed adaptation to modern life. Therefore, the main objectives of this work were to solve the insulation problems faced with very old enclosures, as well as to renew the partitions and the electrical system. One of the most peculiar areas of the house is the lounge, It is located in an old part of the courtyard. To solve the problem of thermal insulation, it was decided to use a novel technique on the roof known as the sandwich roof with asphalt fabric. This procedure, combined with two aluminum windows with thermal break (RPT), solved many difficulties with the neighboring homes and allowed the house to have cool temperatures during the summer and warm temperatures during the winter.
